Chapter Thirteen
The house was signed over to Rizzo before the week was out, but she stayed at Blake’s until Tom was done. Money made things happen a lot faster. Besides, she needed time to buy furniture, dishes, linens – everything.
“Are you going to be okay with this much money going out?” Blake asked as they relaxed after a dinner Rizzo had cooked.
“I’m fine. I got an offer on the lot that’s almost what I paid for the house next door. Apparently, zoning is worth checking into,” Rizzo said with a smile.
“You’re amazing, you know that?” Blake said.
“Nice of you to notice.”
